Johanna is a Bay Area native who has worked in the educational sector for over a decade.  She holds Bachelor degrees in Economics and Sociology from the University of California at Davis and a Master degree and certificate in Educational Therapy from Holy Names University.  She is a professional member of the National Association of Educational Therapists and regularly attends trainings and conferences on learning differences, learning and the brain, cognitive therapies and intervention techniques.

Johanna has provided secondary evaluations and expert witness recommendations for Individualized Education Programs (IEP) cases in the Bay Area, as well as representation at school IEP meetings.  She works collaboratively with allied professionals such as speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists and psychologists to provide integrated intervention services which work in tandem with other ongoing therapies.

Johanna provides trainings and educational recommendations for teachers, tutors and other educators who work with the learning disabled population.  She is happy to provide these services without charge upon request.

In her free time, Johanna enjoys exploring nature, running, kayaking, reading and gardening.
